Where is the lead buried for the Ducati quickshifter

  1. Where is the lead buried for the Ducati quickshifter please? I was told it is close to the tank area but cannot see.

  4. Well i have my quickshifter now and need to locate the connection so i am guessing it might be under the seat, this is where i am goung to look first.

  5. Found it, it is hanging just behind the thermostat housing being clipped to the frame, it has a blanking plug fitted to it which is black.
    Now will have some fun with the quickshifter i bought second hand!!!:upyeah:

  6. What bike is this on? Seen some 2nd hand Ducati ones but dont think they will go on my 09 1198.

  7. SF 848. I bought a second Ducati unit from a Panigale which is the same unit.
    It will fit on your bike also as it has the electronics built in.
