Where to buy spares.

  1. Started tearing the 748 apart this afternoon.

    Exhaust was removed for polishing, but managed to snap one of the front cylinder manifold studs, 6mm still protruding so will be soaking in plusgas and trying to remove with some vice grips, here's hoping! Any advice appreciated.

    Anyway, where is the best place for spares:

    Manifold studs and nuts.
    Exhaust gaskets.
    Wellnuts / bolts for the undertray (had to punch them through the frame as they were seized solid. What size are they, I will purchase on ebay

  2. Before you go running off to ebay just check prices with the dealers.

  4. Get lots of my spares from JHP Ducati coventry. Occassional bargain to be had on ebay, but as stated do some research.

  6. Thanks, bought all I needed and more for ~£33 from Moto Rapido. Some Ducati parts are ridiculously cheap in comparison to Honda, ie £1.31 for an exhaust gasket!

  8. Good day all round, managed to remove snapped manifold stud with a set of vice grips on the stub.
