1200 Which Battery ?

  1. Morning all ..... the Multi moaned as I hit the start button yesterday ..... time to change the Battery I think !!

    Ive looked at a couple Yuasa YT12B-BS and the Motobatt MTB 12 B4 but would appreciate the heads up on your recommends.

  3. Mine is still on the original but I changed to a motobatt on my Aprilia and was very impressed with it.

  6. Whichever manufacturer you decide on, of the types of battery available, the AGM (absorbant glass matting) has the better specs of lead acid batteries. I would not reccomend a Lithium battery of any sort if you have constant drain of charge like an alarm or tracker. LiPO do not like that. Andy
     
  7. I’m running a motobatt and it’s working well. The extra set of terminals is good as it gives you more room for accessory wiring (I run my power distribution module from the extra set)

  10. That's "2" to Motobatt seems that the CCA is a bit higher as well which must help significantly.

  14. I've no issue with Lithium technology. I think it is great.
    Just make sure the circuits around it are designed with it in mind.
    The bikes charging circuits and any tenders you may have.
