  1. Full-faired looks better, and unless your engine is cosmetically tip top then it also can hide quite a lot of grot and what have you.

That said, I've got my eye out for a half-fairing set-up as it's just nice to have options. :)

  2. I'm with you there. I could not be arsed recoating the engine and then when there is the threat of rain, you stay at home.

  3. Full-faired, always.

  4. Half faired for me ...... Have you felt the weight of the full fairing.

  7. The more I look, the more I see a massive hole-burn in the pocket! What swingarm and forks are those?

  8. It is a ds1000ss (and 2002 900SSie) swingarm.

  9. Think the forks are 1098 reworked by K tech. Black stone tec Carbon wheels etc ......
Featured in December 2014 performance bikes.

  10. I had a late 900 ie and the swingarm did not look like that. Maybe the polishing has altered its lines

  12. To me it looks like one. I have a 2002 900SSie and I have polished the swingarm. Polished of not, it looks like the last fat swingarm. Here is a pic of mine.

  14. Off trail riding on those, Ian?

  15. Are you talking about the low quality Scottish tarmac?

  16. Last time i was there, only last September on the 500 mile coastal tour on the yellow 1100 beasty, I recall not much other than freshly laid EU-funded stuff. Very nice.

And no speed cameras north of Glasgow either.

  17. Just need the right roads, there's a lot of bad ones
