916 Which Wheels

  1. Tomorrow I’m collecting a 916 but I’ll have to sell my 748. The 916 come with wheels which need repainting but has “Ducat racing” around nut. The 748 has good wheels but not the text.

    Which wheels should I keep with the 916 and which should I put on the 748 to sell?

    I can swap tyres so ignore them.

  2. It's only the very early 916's that had the wheels embossed and not the later models.

  3. The 916 is a 97-R reg so could have either.
    The 748 is a 99-T reg.

    I’ll keep the racing wheel and get it repainted gold. Currently it’s 1/2 gold 1/2 polished.

  18. That’s worth keeping. My sport 190 is a S1, basically the same as your exige in a standard body. It’s now Honda powered 275bhp and under 700kg (without me).
