Whiteways Cafe (bury Hill, West Sussex) South Downs

  1. I believe they are open till 9pm on Thursdays now that the evenings are longer.
    Anyone planning on going there this evening?

  10. Not much going on at Whiteways this evening. A few bikes, a carbon Diavel.
    I had a cup of tea and then went for my usual 80 mile circuit which was nice without the usual level of traffic :upyeah:

  12. If you are out and about near Whiteways, remember - it's well policed.
    Particularly by a dark blue BMW bike that is very stealthy indeed.

  19. Shame I missed you Chris.
    Couldn't stay for long because I had to go out to the pub.
    My bike has been totally transformed with new set of tyres- Michelin pilot street radial, they really suit the bike.
    The bearing lock on the rear sprocket carrier is working nicely, and chain slap on gear change now eliminated.
    Can't keep off the thing now!

  20. likewise John, good to hear bike maladies eliminated. Had a nice ride back and stopped at a music venue until nearly 9 pm. I can ride many miles on a bicycle but only takes an hour on a motorcycle to aggravate hernia repair - serves me right for not riding 'it' more.
