916 Who Would You Use...

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by OllieW, Feb 15, 2018.

  1. I recently acquired a 916 Senna that has been with its first owner from new (only done 840kms) and whilst the bike is practically perfect there are a few age related issues that is like to get sorted to make it 100%

It’s mainly a bit of corrosion on an engine cover and a few knackered bolts but want them done right.

I live in Leicestershire and don’t have any experience of any specialists for Ducati, so any recommendations would be greatly received. Thanks Ollie

  3. I would use Ducati John, but he is in Leeds. However i live in London and still go to him when I need necessary work doing.

There are other options like Louigi Moto in Bristol and then there are of course recognised Ducati dealers like JHP, Snells etc. all with good reputations.

JHP are in Coventry so they would be nearer than some of the others mentioned. No doubt others can recommend possibly someone nearer that they have experience of.

  4. Knackered bolts and corroded engine cover don't sound like they need a Ducat specialist to me

  5. Possibly true but I also want them to go over the bike and restore anything else that isn’t period correct...

  6. Cornerspeed would be my first call and probably one of your nearest.

  9. Removing bolts / nuts / brackets is labour intensive so you will have to pay around £50/60 per hour,,:(
