I spent the whole day yesterday riding my bike on a track, taking the family car at 6:00 to trail it. I didnt take out the car seats leaving the family stranded at home for the day and they had to be picked up by a friend to take them to the party they were supposed to be at. I then got home, unpacked, my roast dinner was plated up for me and I ate then watched the MotoGP for a few hours on an iPad with headphones on so she could watch the tele on the sofa next to me. Nothings been said but I have a feeling I should be very nice this evening!
I spent 4 hours on my bike yesterday. Then watched 5 hours of MotoGP afterwards. It's not the done thing apparently
My brother did the same thing...his wife is not talking to him. "luckily" I've got a puncture and a rear wheel that won't come off, so I'm "OK".
I'd rather not say. Be assured though - I am in the shittiest corner of the worst doghouse right now.
I watched bikes and football from 8am till 9pm yesterday with barely a break... Mrs Weeksy is perfectly fine with it all...
I was nice enough to stop the recording of GP on sky as she wanted to watch something. I switched to iPad and carried on watching. What was so important that she wanted to watch you ask...? Fucking 'Say yes To The Dress'. Unbelievable. She did let me watch the rest of the racing in the evening though and actually asked questions about the race that was on. She'll be turned to our side yet [emoji6]
Good work! I forgot to mention that we watched the F1 afterwards and I fell asleep on her! I told I have too much time as I make sure my track bike is looking nice. Its only because on the run up to Christmas theres I'm a celebrity, X factor, the voice etc on and I can legitimately spend evenings in the garage!
Went to work at 6am, got home at 12 midday then was out on the roof of my house (rebuilding the roof) til 6pm and it was a lovely day, I missed everything bikes, relaxing, racing and going out on mine....the only time I did get to use it yesterday was the commute... Although ive gotta say in the summer (at 6am) months the "commute" can be done at some amazing speeds....a bmw s1000r didn't want to play yesterday morning....
Just got away with watching the 2 Spanish WSB races followed by the 2 Assen WSB followed by the 2 Brands BSB rounds. All I had to do was run feet whilst watching. I can live with that
Bearing in mind i have 'forced' Mrs B to change her job, sell our family home, leave all her friends, leave all her family and relocate to the middle of nowhere miles from the sea we are so used to, that I spent nearly all day on sofa watching racing yesterday while she slaved on the packing, doing tip runs and stuff too, you'd think I'd be right in it. Funny enough I'm not New game this one, I havent worked it out. Yet...
