So I've removed some Evotech Crash Protection from my bike, but the spindle that replaces it (I took it out easily enough) will not go back in? Well it goes in a bit seems short and not able to go right through so I can get the nut on it to tighten it up? What am I missing? Its this part in the instructions showing its being removed, yet i can't refit it as it comes up short?
Am I correct in thinking you are trying to refit the OE engine bolt ? IME on a 1200, I had to take the weight of the engine on a jack to get the holes to line up. Andy
Hi, yes its the original part I'm trying to refit back in, hmm ok I'll try that and se if it does anything to get it back in the full length, cheers. Typical, haven't got a jack in the car, its one of those inflate kits... Will have to borrow my dads...
