I have had a bad spill on my S4RS and have a few questions for the forum. Obviously the one above, but also which onlins forks will replace my ruined ohlins originals, plus which other models wheels will fit? I’m also looking for an accurate hard wearing gold paint for them. I’m retired, so looking to get a good pair of second hand ones. If anyone know which other Ducati models will fit, so that I can be confident when searching eBay. Many thanks to anyone that replies, fingers crossed! Snoopy
Rear won’t as it’s large hub. Front maybe but would imagine you’d have to overcome potential spacer issues. IIRC any ohlins radial forks from any Ducati of that age would fit. Looks like insurance claim to me….going to be expensive!
I would think an 848 or M1100 rear wheel would fit. I believe they may be the same spoke pattern and are small hub. Not sure about front. - the forks appear similar to 749R or 999S/R (radial brakes) so if that’s the case then a 749/99/848/1098 etc front would fit perhaps.
I can’t see every detail of the forks but if nothing is cracked, and it is “only” bent tubes or stanchions, they may be repairable for less money than a replacement pair in good condition.
