Winter Tyres Advice.

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Ben Clapham, Nov 17, 2017.

  1. Good afternoon,

Just after a bit of advice, I’m currently shopping for some winter tyres for my HM 821, and I just wanted to see what other people may have used, or are using.

I’ve seen good reviews for Pirelli Scorpion Trail/Trail II’s, and Continental TKC80’s.

I do roughly 50 miles per day to and from
Work in Cheltenham, mostly mucky country lanes. So I do hit plenty of mud and crap on the roads.

Any input/ advice and previous experiences appreciated.

    Thanks, Ben.

  2. Michelin PR"s are good I hear ? Not scorpions though, multis have them as standard and they are not very good imo. Welcome to the forum.

  3. Winter tyres, probably Pilot road 4s. Pseudo off road tyres not much benefit on tarmac, with or without a bit mud!
