Would anyone have to hand in digital form a wiring diagram for the 916 biposto or strada with the 1.6m ecu? Ta muchly
thanks Jon, I'e just found a whole user manual online but no wiring diagram. I might be forced to buy the haynes comic. I was really hunting to see if the ignition circuit has a relay or if its just the starter relay.
I just happen to have the Haynes on my desk . It claims to cover 748/916/996 ( from '94 to '01 ) There are 6 or 7 wiring diagrams included and every model has an ignition relay and a starter relay . All appear to have two wires from ignition switch to ignition relay . One is white , the other is black/yellow . Does that help any ? Edit : @Dukedesmo aced it before I finished typing .....
Thats great, thank you all very much so it would appear that either p8 or 1.6m shared the same loom with only pin- outs in the ecu connector being different possibly. i was interested because i was thinking about fitting an m-unit blue to the 916 but i need to see how the ecu relates to the system. The m-unit also has built in ignition circuit relay capability
