I have an Orbea aqua road bike of about 8 years vintage with flat bars. It is 9 speed and i want to replace the worn out parts and lower the final gearing at the same time. It appears the industry wants me to upgrade to 10, 11 or more gears and i dont need that many. Does anyone have any 10 speed flat bar shifters, well for the cassette shift at least, in case i have no choice but to go for 10 speed. I actually want either an Ultegra or 105 9 speed cassette with a 30 tooth largest cog. keith

They won’t make 105 or Ultegra in 9 Speed any more, but there’s plenty of options like the one above. Not sure if shimano did a 30T cassette, 28 or 32 might be the only ones they offer, 3rd party manufacturers might have something. They’ll generally use the same freehub splines as shimano so there’s loads out there
