Bad move I think, will mean overnight stay or double commute for us that just go raceday and 2 entry fees. Casual TV audience will struggle to keep up due to missing live races/or get result spoiler before catchup. I enjoy 2 races on sunday with SSpt and SStk in between trackside or from the couch.
According to the article it is to stop the races clashing with F1, moto GP, etc, to get the TV figures up. Must be bad for attendance though.
Saturday 1pm is really bad time for majority of people To watch tv at home. Wankers have really fkd up imho. Kiss of death for WSBk?
Lots of sports have most of their main events on Saturdays, such as football, cricket, rugby, ... Motorsports have been mainly on Sundays for many years past, which minimises clashes and direct competition for audiences. Have our Spanish friends forgotten this?
