  1. Hi, I am after one of these. Its off a monster 620, but it may be on others. Its the clutch microswitch. If you have an unused old one in a bag of odds and sods I'd like to try it plz. Theyre for sale on fleabay for stupid money. Its a £2 microswitch. I'll fashion one myself if I have to but someone may have one annoying them in the box of bits.

I'll be jerry rigging it on a new radial clutch mc I got from Android. I knew it never had the M/S but I also knew I could make a fixing up and that these were on Monsters. But Im damned if I am going to give a breaker £50 for a £2 bit. :D I'll make one if I have to.

  2. Bootsam,
If any one can have a look ay one and get any info off it you could try RS Components. I did the same for my 900ss it was a "Cherry" brand and got one for a couple of quid. A quick search shows "Burgress" brand, but not sure of spec.

Not sure how the link a thread but have a search for below in supersport section, I know its not the same but might give you a start.

  3. Thanks Gaz, its actually the bracket I am most interested in. It affixes via the bajo bolt. The microswitch as you say are cheap as chips.

  5. Actually that bit is handy Gaz. Cheers

  6. Bump - still looking. All you M600 and 675 owners....

  7. If anyone can measure one up I can do a model for lazer cut flat pattern and bent or possibly for someone with 3D printer, but that will be a bit expensive. Or can just do .pdf for a templet to cut one out of sheet.

  8. These are NOT the dimensions, but if anyone can measure up I can revised and we might be able to get somewhere close for a templet.

  11. Well I was also considering drilling holes in the radial mc to accept the switch as per oem. I have to do that to the lever anyway to accept the pin that actuates the m/s.

    My other alternative was velcro...

  12. The lever is held on via a bolt with a spring clip. So no bolt for the bracket. However, the bolt is hollow and one of the plastic pegs handily locates directly where its needed. The other I will trim flush and glue gun. Its a bit heath robinson, but no reversible alterations required. I should add its not my oem, which is cleaned & stored safely along all other oem parts for my bike. Don't want anyone fainting or writing me stern letters.

  13. I have fitted the microswitch and it works. I nipped off one of the locator pegs from u/s of switch and filed it back a smidge. The front one then handily locates in the hollow of the lever pin. I put a small blob of glue from gluegun and its now held firmly. Alas the lever has no pin to activate the switch. But the nut that holds the lever adjuster almost touches it, so I put a small piece of reservoir hose over it to extend it and hey presto.

My clutch is now lighter thanks to Android for selling it competatively priced (cheap). I only have 2 fingers with strength on my left hand so it has made my bike more useable in traffic and stop/start.
