Happy to swap installed forks for standard forks or buy complete cartridge. May also be able to stretch to ohlins forks if someone is returning a bike to standard and fancies a swap for std plus cash.
The k tech cartridge kit is highly rated too. I Have a set of 10 rated springs if those are what you require.
For the k tech IDS kit, but since k tech is allegedly closely modelled on ohlins they could well be interchangeable. I will measure the length and diameter if you are interested Mine originally came with the heavier springs but they were too stiff for me so I am now on 9’s
What are wanting to achieve ? KTech offer 2 cartridge solutions for the OE fork outers, a 25IDS for the road and a DDS for track, https://store.ktechsuspension.com/a...-556610&sid=vc260vRgxg&product_list_limit=all. Andy
Just better not race quality. Been reading about how the system forks aren’t great (still not ridden it!!) and have added ttx shock and will be (if I can make this 5k tax bill disappear that arrived last week unexpectedly!!) adding the lighter wheels.
I know it’s a controversial statement, but I’ve heard a fair few riders complaining about the lack of feel on ktec front ends. especially the new ktec stuff.
What about mupo Paul? they do a lot with Ducati. I’ve got a factory shock on order with them at the moment and some fork springs. the csp front end gets a good write up
That’s my experience too. I have ohlins on my 749R and through the corkscrew at Aragon the front end feels fantastic I have KTECH IDS inserts on the panigale and through the same corners, it’s better than the ohlins. You can feel the forks compress and it’s like riding a magic carpet. They are probably bored.
Mupo all the way. I had the CSP’s on that very bike Bradders and it was night and day better than the stock marzocchi’s. I’ve had the Ktech cartridges on an 899 and they weren’t bad but weren't anyway near the confidence and feel of the CSP. I know they are pricey but the technology is incredible. And any excuse to share a picture of me tarting around on track…. CSP30’s made this possible oh and I got my fastest time at Cartagena on the CSP’s
Bumpy bump. Tempted to buy new from the states as, even with import duties, it’s cheaper than U.K. supplied
I’d rather ohlins as I have that rear and love to match. Too risky to buy from Italy right now re extra costs for new, but the euro is weakening nicely ideal solution would be someone selling bike that has ohlins and doing a px deal. Bit would use ktech etc too if it was right deal ps still not ridden it
