Strange that they hardly used it in free practice but stuck it on for qually.

 

Speedway bikes have used these for many years. Just adds a bit of air resistance to drifting sideways. So why not?

 

Chaz has been injured in a bad crash when he was accidentally run over by Rea. Taken to hospital as he is having breathing difficulties.

Ducati seem to be solving a problem that doesn't exist. Any engineer with experience knows that solid wheels distort. Even if that isn't the idea carbon is hardly weightless.

 

I thought the idea behind these was to hide what witchcraft sensors they were running on the hub. That or they liked the idea of the MotoGP lunchbox under the seat, but the pani rear end was too pretty to ruin. It'd be one hell of a tossed salad after quali

 

It was suggested that the carbon was to stop it going sideways. The pani's don't do much of that unless we count the ridiculous spectacle of one crashing at Coppice after losing the front.
