Was just thinking about a potential project.Do any yokes,from bikes with standard handlebars,fit the 748/9*6 bottom yoke/forks?Preferably with no machining.
There are two types of std top yoke for the 748/998 range. Basically they both fit but the top yokes from the later bikes have a different set up for the lock stop bit. Can be ground down though.
I was thinking of fitting a set of standard handlebars, as opposed to clipons, to a bike with 748 forks.I didnt want to faff getting a top yoke made up,so was wondering whether a top yoke off another model (that has bar clamps) would slot straight on.
