East Anglia Air Ambulance is still operational, or at least it was when I was last at work (yesterday). Only one Loganair flight a day, otherwise no other fixed wing flying. 34 aircraft mothballed on the airfield since last week, including KLM and BA aircraft. We're still running a 24/7 service as needed, as are our competitors on the other side of the airfield. Back to work on Monday.
although in many situations they are deployed to people at home in isolated or difficult to access areas due their rapid response time/ seriousness of the incident...
I can 100% confirm the air ambulance landed by the village of ‘jump’ near Barnsley at circa 3pm today I know this as I watched it do so....no idea what it was doing
I think things are calming down a bit chiz although no idea what’s happening in London lots of strategic shopping venues up t north just stay away from the big stores, the motorway petrol stations or m&s petrol shops, Waitrose etc ...I honestly can’t believe how some people reacted
tbh i think its calming down a bit here as well... although i dont know how long that will last as rumours of the supply chain and manufactures not being up to it grow stronger. not been toilet paper anywhere local for weeks.. i have 220 ish rolls though so im ok.....
