  1. An update to the forum software since those of us here so far joined......"Rides"

If you include your Multistrada whatever model advanced searches can be used to find all Multistrada (or whatever model) owners:

    > Click on your user name at the head of any page (your Profile opens)

    > Select the 'About me' tab

    > Click the yellow pencil icon next to 'Rides'
    .....and enter you bike info.

To find all Multistrada owners (for example):

    > Select 'Members List' from the 'Community' dropdown link in the main forum menu

    > Members list open......click 'Search Members' and select 'Advanced Search'

    > Scroll down the advanced search window to 'Rides'....enter Multistrada (or whatever model) and hey presto! :D

Currently only showing 2 Multistrada owners!

  2. Thanks Andy, never thought about doing that!!

  3. Ooo it works! Apparently 6 of us have 848s :upyeah:

  4. Multistrada 10 (inc Multistrada 1200 8) + MTS1200 3 :D

Suggested to Rob that he tweak the search facility with boolean operators (geek:) i.e you use And, OR and NOT to get better results e.g.
Multistrada 1200 AND MTS1200.........I guess you could add NOT 848

Tip: Maybe good if Mutley owners stick to:
    Multistrada 1200
    Multistrada 1100
    Multistrada 1000
    Multistrada 620
.........i.e. avoid abbreviations, addition of S, DS, Sport etc shouldn't matter ;-)

  5. Rob's updated the Profile pages to include a field to enter other bikes owned;-)

Everyone entered their location and model of Multistrada? :D

  6. Just added mine.

I had put in mts 1000 originally

  7. updated to read multistrada 1200, even managed to add an avatar! :)

  8. I would suggest uniform names linked to our own description showing under profile.

Example you link all full name multi models, old and new, as multistrada.

So Multistrada 620, 1000, 1000s, 1200, 1200s as Multistrada. If user enters Multistrada he/she would be searchable under all mentioned. If he enters Multistrada 620 searchable under Multistrada and Multistrada 620. If custom name entered forum asks to select one pre-defined model. After that user would be searchable under his bike name and group he selected as per above. Users custom name displays in Rides.

In my case I would have name Mongrel Monster that would be linked to Monster 900 which is linked to Monster.
