Evenlonger when the Zeebrugge - Hull overnight ferry was cancelled and I had to ride from Deauville - Calais - Dover - Newcastle in one go. Oh, it lashed with rain for the last 4 hours for good measure.

Yes I did - I wish I could remember re bevels, the only programme I have from the south is Mallory park 12th May 1985 which I raced my YPVS350, my oldest programme is 7th Sept 1980 the year Jock Taylor raced at Knockhill in the sidecar challenge, Ron Haslam was up for that one along with a shed load of excellent English riders, the prize money must have been good, a load of bevels in the proddy open race too..

Tim9 The bike is not that modified and I have everything needed to swap back to original if I decide. No plans on selling but I was thinking of swapping the rims back to original (previous owner).

This is how I mounted my Garmin 595 but found there was a bit to much wobble and ended up hunting down a Navihalter on fleabay second hand and paid the same price as if it was new. I wonder if the people at Navihalter have recovered from their crash ? hopefully they are up and around and building Nav mounts again !!
