  1. Ducati GT1000 Cafe Racer
this is a no expense spared build

Powder coated frame, headlight bezel, headlight bracket
One off tail tidy and rear light
    New Oil Lines
    Exact starter kit
Alpina Tubeless Wheels, Pirelli corsa tyres

Candy red paint, all emblems are painted, really needs to be seen to be appreciated
    Cut down front mudguard
    New filler cap
    Rizoma bars and risers
    New brake lines
    Refurbished brakes
    New pads

  4. Cheers, no interest, I have removed it from eBay now, will leave it on hearfor a bit longer

  5. Now £9000, wrong time of the year i guess

  6. David, beautiful machine, I would give the Bikeshed a try on their bikes for sale section.

  7. Looks like everyone is worried about the mileage for some reason, i have reduced it to £8499 and will re-list it on ebay in march april, or may have to break it

  8. Restore it all to standard specification, exactly as it was when it rolled out of the factory. Then people will be queuing up to buy it.

  10. Quick calculation i would need to spend around £2500-£3000 on parts to put it back to stock
Tank, side panels, exhaust, seat, mirrors, indicators, wheels, front mudguard, side panels, rear light assembly, rear shocks and a few other bits, thats if i can find all the bits

if i am lucky i could sell my bits i take off for, lets say £3500, but would prob only get 5-6k standard because of the milage, may as well sell it for less, break it, or sell my Norton Dominator Naked and keep it

  11. How does it ride compared to your Dominator?

  12. Beautiful bike....its a shitter when all people see is the mileage...Years ago a lad on the us duc forum who had a hypermotard that went round the clock. Ive got no issues with mileage personally. Id rather pay more for a personalized bike thats been done tastefully. GLWS.

  13. Did I miss the mileage?

  14. I dont know what the mileage was...my mate is just the same. Sees a nice bike then dismisses it if its above 10k...If its been looked after and serviced then theres no reason why it shouldnt carry on being reliable...

If anything - since my hyper seized its now even more reliable than it was before with the dodgy shell bearings removed (known failure point) plus the replacement crank was balanced so, its smoother than it ever was...
