Not had this long but already had a brush with the Rozzers.

  3. BMW HP4 Carbon - took it back after 8 months, either I would have lost my licence or my life, and I value my licence o_O

  4. Used to take the DT on the back of my camper to the IOM TT races and I was John McGuinness going over the mountain. My Street Triple also was a bit of a hooligan bike.

  5. My ZZR1100 de-restricted......

0-60 in about 2 seconds; 0-100 and back to stationary in about 10 seconds.

95mph in 2nd gear and wheelspin in 3rd gear having changed up from 2nd at about 75mph (slightly damp road).

Me on the ZZR1100; one mate on a GPZ900, another mate on a GSX1100.......all accellerating together from a standing start going up a long hill on a dual carriageway........all three with the front wheels in the air.

When we crested the hill, the combined speed was roughly 375mph.....(only one of us was brave enough to look at a speedo).

All on private roads of course.

  6. Ooh I picked up an S3 this week. Can drive it super steady but OMG it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The pop when shifting up matches the grin factor thats comes with my Diavel,

  7. Picked up a slap on the wrist/stern warning after popping a small wheelie on my way home up Birmensdorferstrasse, Zurich on my '97 'Blade! Loved that bike. Always easy to go too fast... Happy days...!

  8. Keep it out of view, or somewhere not associated with your address!

    Speaking from experience.

  9. Would de badging it help?

  10. Not really, the overall look gives it away
    Wheels, suspension exhausts etc.

The bad guys know what they want.

  12. Had this little 600 at 19. Restricted of course ;). Good job I stopped riding for a while as I'm sure they were half way through digging my grave. Was poor so not maintained, could only afford race scrubs for the road and used it year round. Bike only worked right at the top of the rev range. Cracking bike though.

  13. I had a Street Triple R in 2011, I loved that bike was the perfect street weapon and total hooligan bike, the blue LED shift lights always goaded me into ragging it, the engine never blinked. Was gutted when it got written off at 20mph when some ASBO driving his mums Corsa changed lanes with out looking at a island :sob:

  14. I forgot to mention Lambrettas. I cant count how many times Ive fallen off my old lammies. Either from seizures, surfing or just general arsing around. I parked one into the side of a police car on my 19th birthday. Wrote of an Austin Princess with another and had a blues brothers style police chase round Eltham with another before my kickstart hooked a parked car and had me off. The police dogs got me due to a furry seat.

  15. Can you play the Johnny Briggs theme tune with it?

  16. My current KTM has turned me into a hooligan again.
Before that my 1995 Triumph Speed Triple, I have fond memories of riding that lots everywhere in brain off mode. If I could find an Orange version at sensible money with the seat cowl and the factory issue 3-1 I’d buy it.

  17. Probably these 3. 550 had ported barrels and allspeeds, ate piston rings but flew between rebuilds. Z1 was supposed to do do 135 mph, I was too busy looking where I was going to tell. Z1R was better but the speedo way over read at 150. Not sure how I made 20. uOhnmKJ2.jpg
