Hi everyone, I own a Multistrada V4, and recently had it serviced. During a test ride yesterday, I noticed that the quick shift function suddenly stopped working. I checked and confirmed that the function was indeed shown as deactivated. The bike itself seemed fine. When I reactivated the quick shift function using the diagnostic tool, it enabled normally. Does anyone know what might cause this? I'm a bit worried there might be an underlying issue...
Did QS work when you picked it up from service ? Obvious question is whether a software/ECU update might have caused this ?
Did you try turning it back on in the bike screen, or was that not working so had to use OBD. Did the EML light come on? When mine failed, the light came on, was replaced under warranty.
Hi, yes, it was working initially, but suddenly stopped functioning during a ride. It might indeed be as you suggested — a software update issue. After I reactivated it using a diagnostic tool, it started working normally again.
Hello, the indicator light didn’t turn on. When the quick shifter (QS) fails, the controls on the screen don’t respond. It only works again after reactivation.
