yeah, we’ve experienced that in the past. That’s about as close as he’ll get to water , and if the sea is fairly rough he won’t walk along the prom.
I meant to find out what it was as I suspected it was something of that sort, so thanks for the info.
On Friday Inky's pelvis was reattached and pinned and two thirds of her tail amputated. Today she's off intravenous meds and purring.
Inky back home. Rather more than 2/3 of her tail gone. The tail stump's stitched but the abdomen work is glued. Amazing the medical advances when you take your eye off the ball for a few years. She kept getting the collar off so it's left off and she hasn't compromised her wounds. She seems subdued, so fingers crossed she stays that way. I wonder if she'll have a phantom tail.
I don't know that (yet). Presumably hit by a car. Her predecessor, Lily, was killed in the London Road a month or so back.
The vets are in no doubt she was hit by a vehicle. Presumably they know it when they see it. They lopped as much tail off because they thought the weight would cause nerve damage. The stitches are due to come out Thursday. She dragged herself home and through the cat flap with half her pelvis detached.
