  2. gives you an idea on the options of dash layout and the info available....

  3. on the dash you can also add tyre pressure display... and on the new R it has a grip meter display....

  4. I could do with a grip meter…….

  5. I’m working on it… trying to figure out my work schedule. I really liked Mugello!

  6. Grip meter display? Like real time? As much use as tits on a man, surely?

We’re okay, we’re okay, still okay… ooooft yeh basah!!

  7. Evo Software on the 2023 was noticeably better, especially driving out of corners. It can be removed/reloaded, so worth having a check on eBay to see if anyone is selling it for £200 rather than £400 (or whatever it is). Annoyingly Evo software for the 2025 is only available if you get the exhaust.

Useful tip on holding the flash to get sectors. The problem with this (and the Satnav that still doesn't work on mine!) is there do not seem to be any clear instructions anywhere about setting up and using these things.

  8. Staying stock on my exhaust so that's a shame.

  9. I disagree with the eco software on 22- being better I had it on my 22 and have the track software on the 25..
25 is far more confidence inspiring in and out of corners…

  10. from Ducati website

  11. interestingly not listed for the R yet though

  12. Email I sent

    Dear Ducati UK,

My question is concerning DAVC there has never been much info concerning this, particularly in English, and still not much information for the ever technical 2025 DAVC. Yes you can feel and see the benefit with a bit of guess work but, what would be really beneficial is some sort of presentation regarding what it truly is and does, and how this benefits the rider.

I would pay for a day half day meeting/presentation delivered by someone fully in the know ideally in English regarding the DAVC. I know i'm not alone in this request to understand the product. Is this something you could consider please even at Ducati UK Silverstone HQ say during the horrid winter months Im sure there would be a big take up on this

    Thank you

  13. @andyb

How are you finding the new bike compared to the previous one?

  14. @andyb you misunderstood me. When I said the Evo software was noticeably better on my '23, I meant noticeably better than stock '23, not noticeably better than the '25. I agree completely that the '25 is better, even stock.

  15. ah my bad then I agree with you now...:joy:

  16. Even easier to ride... easier to go quicker, feels like less risk riding it, gives a lot of confidence. easier to work on. Set up particularly with the electronics needs a bit of concentration, but the more you use it the more familiar you get with it.

  17. Well Ducati Italy rang me yesterday and liked my idea, although looked to steer me through the dealerships.
They are working on a better more graphical explanation... and will send it to me as well as release it.
she also sent me a bit of blurb all in all a good bit of customer service.

  18. I’m very tempted to get the V4S (also toying with the idea of the Fireblade SP, although I don’t like that keyless nonsense for track). I’ve only sat on the V4S but it immediately felt lighter and slimmer - very noticeable.

I’ll probably go with the Ducati because it’s a Duc and the new dash and data logging all look really nicely integrated (no idea about the implementation of the system).

Need to sell the R and/or SP2 first though - I don’t need two Panigale, let alone a third one.

  19. Agreed.... and the track brake setting that applies the rear brake with the front is super impressive. I actually cannot get on with track+ yet, the one that holds the rear brake after you release the front (I feel like the bike wants to drop on it's side at the apex... I am not quick enough for it to work the way it wants to!).

  20. The bike upto 2024 felt very top heavy by comparison. I am not sure how they have managed to change the feel so significantly, but as you say, it is noticable simply wheeling it about and sitting on it. The tank is also a much better shape for me.
