Downforce: The exhaust headers are angled up to push the car into the ground with tons of force. Tire Deformation: The tires grow in diameter, changing the "final drive" ratio mid-run.
The "AntiChrist" is a Honda double four built by the late Boris “Bob” Guynes for the salt flats. Sporting a pair of modified CB750 inline fours linked together with their primary drives. The bike features a pair of carbs per cylinder bank instead of the factory four. It has a dry sump oil system with a catch can and eight into four exhaust set up. The fuel tank is from an old CB450.
That’s really interesting. I’d noticed initial the sluggishness of rockets but had always assumed it was a kind of optical illusion due to the size of everything and because launches are usually filmed from a long way away.
