I wouldn't say stupid, clearly he's done well for him self. I think it's more culturally uneducated which gives off a lack of intelligence in my opinion. Because he knows bugger all about anything but farming
My brother was a farm manager (now semi-retired since the farm was sold off when the last of the owning family died) and his family have lived in the Chipping Norton area for nearly 40 years. He knows Kaleb well and my nephew went to school with him. He certainly isn't stupid. He was surviving as a farm contractor before Clarkson's Farm gave him a leg up. Why should he need to know about anything but farming? That's his world and the life he grew up with, as it has been for my brother and now for his son. It's a good job there are still some members of the younger generation still committed to the industry, in which you have to be smart to survive at all, never mind starting from scratch as a youngster in the Cotswolds where you need to be a millionaire to acquire the merest scrap of usable land which costs a fortune.
