H&S is a British disease that affects no-one else but the British. That's because the British cannot live without rules, and H&S lives on rules.
Using H&S to defeat common sense is the most frustrating thing. In actual fact, I didn't really come across any problematic H&S when I served. It was obvious stuff like ear defence, helmets, eye protection. If a job needed doing it got done, and the risk assessment tried to mitigate the risks before hand. It seems to be mostly civvies that use it as a defence.
Actually if you read it properly, mine isn't an argument.....Its a Statement of Fact and I'm fairly certain you haven't been on selection.
That bit's opinion, not fact You're right, I haven't been on Selection, the nearest I can claim is Senior Brecon.
Yep, 'opinion' not 'argument'.........and I suggest you don't comment on things you don't know about as you are beginning to sound like a lefty local authority jobsworth.......(IMO :wink
If we all stop commenting on things we know nothing about then it's going to be mighty quiet round these parts
Yep I'd be guilty off that , I know feck all about feck all and I'll keep posting to feck all effect.
