    both connectors are new, one comes with the reg/rec and the other one needed soldering. i upgraded to a mosfet reg/rec. i had the bike running...

    hopefully i have found a few faults after removing the airbox that has solved the problem. the plugs and airbox were dirty due to an oil breather...
