  1. Looked at bike in garage. Looked at salt-covered car. Shut garage door. Had a trim. Day of pure excitement.

  2. Dry here and no salt. Bikes were very clean after our ride out but then my bike is ceramic polished and ppf’d just so I can ride whenever I can. Andy

  3. ACF50 and wash them when you return.... your just looking for excuses not to ride it...... chop it in for another Ducati...

Was pleasantly suprised how warm it was when I was out for my early morning ride.....

Then back - dog out for his morning walk - then back home and bike washed and blow dried.

    Also did the 3 cars.

Then loaded the wife and grand daughter in the car and down to St Fagans - for a 3 hour stroll around...

Back and cleaned and polished bike and locked up ready for next week end (hopefully)

    Now coffee and internet...

  10. Well I’ve lost the will to live. I’ve never read so much contractual bollox in all my life.

There must be an easier way to buy and sell a house, surely.

  11. I'm not teaching you to suck eggs but be very careful what you sign up to when buying a new build. I know a couple of people who have come unstuck, to the tune of thousands of pounds, when they couldn't complete by the date they signed up to through no fault of their own.

I looked at buying a new build a couple of years ago and when I read the contract it was too risky if I didn't exchange and complete on time.

  12. Seems many are slipping on title ownership of the mad these days, even small private builders, creating huge issues down the line.

  13. Stripping the 888 parts and zinc plating the nuts, bolts and parts for the throttle bodies.

  14. If its not built yet (or half built) and if you possibly can....get network cabling ran in...even if you dont know how to finish it all off...its the best thing youll ever do....

  15. My daughter lost her cat on thursday (she was 8), we had to put her down as she had kidney failure - she had quite a connection with her and had a brother. He's been sat at the back of the house by the cat door ever since with his head drooped over. Im sure they sense something....

  16. The house is built, but trying to get a builder (even a small one) to do something out of the ordinary is a complete pain. They won’t do anything special in case the sale doesn’t happen.

  17. Last week I sent some details to one of those Ancestry sites which promise to research your family tree.

Today they sent me a pack of seeds and a suggestion that I start over again...

  18. After a blast on Friday with my mate ‘Jorge the laughing German’ I took the Monster to the jetwash today.
I hate the thought of any salt eating into it.

We were going to Ronda but it was rained off. Instead, if any of you are interested, we went along the coast road to Almunecar, then up to Jete, Otivar, Arenas del Rey, Alhama de Granada, Ventas de Zafarraya, Vinuela, then down to Velez-Malaga.

It was bloody freezing up high. Especially when you only have a vented summer jacket on.
    Thank god for thermals.

  19. They can’t, in case it doesn’t go through. When you’ve exchanged you might be able to make the alterations you want.
