Hi all, I know the title seems VERY specific and it is for a good reason. I am try and find my late fathers old motorbike. I was reminded of it a little while ago in conversation with someone. The memories came flooding back, the trips we took on it, they were some great times, so I am looking for it (as per thread https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/on-a-mission-to-find-“the”-bike.61336/page-2#post-1136426) The reg is EF02 ZKJ. The outcome that I am hoping for is to find out where it is, if it is for sale currently, if not, get in touch with the owner to say "give me a ring if you want to sell it". I hope someone can help Cheers!
Hi all, Another update... the current owner has contact me asking if I am still interested in purchasing the bike! I am beyond excited, however I want to check the condition it is in etc to get a good idea of the current price. Are there any key things to look out for on a 2002 Ducati Monster S4? Thanks again for any help, almost there.
This is the reason i still own my late fathers bike....away in storage and waiting for me to get some time to strip it and renovate....
Ill get there eventually - just had 3 solid weeks of decorating kids rooms.....mother in laws garden fence to do next....(about a 40m run of cementing posts!) Plus the bike is in storage about 50 odd miles away and i dont have a trailer (have to gently talk my mate into it...!)
@CTRdemon to be fair if the price is somewhere near I wouldn't worry about it, if it's ya dad's old bike you going to pay pretty much what he's asking I guess??
Thanks all Yep, I am more than happy to pay the going rate. I am not looking to bargain for it or be picky on the details. I'm just planning how much extra things are going to cost to put right if needed. As long as the price isn't way off I am happy.
