Tyre Inflater Recommendation

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Bootneck, Dec 5, 2019.

  1. Hi All, can anyone recommend a good home tyre inflator to use that has an accurate tyre pressure gauge, I'm looking for an all in one to use on my V4, as you know using ones at a petrol station are not accurate they get used an abused on a daily basis, I know you can buy ones that plug in to a
    car
cigarette lighter but can you get ones that run of the normal mains, any recommendations gratefully received

  2. I use a bicycle Leynze track pump and a separate tyre pressure gauge, no batteries or 12V needed

  3. Ryobi One pump (which has a gauge but I only use as a guide) and separate Venhill pressure gauge.

  4. I bought one of these last year and it’s been great
Holds a charge and topped up 4 winter tyres on the alpina after 8 months no problem

  6. Looks exactly the same ( just £11 more )

  7. I agree but the aldi one is no longer available unfortunately, I like the idea of buying from argos just for the piece of mind and ability to return it if it breaks which would be a nightmare via online retailers, just go to convince my wife that this is a good xmas present from my kids

  8. Wasn’t meaning to be negative ( just lucky I got at the price I’d ) so far I would say well worth the 40 quid - holds a charge, neat little light on it and like a power drill has a lockable button so don’t have to stand holding it

    Would say yes :upyeah:
