Maybe just good practice Degs, it can't hurt. I doubt it's done any damage, but it can't have cost much. The Threebond is about £25 of that bill iirc.
exactly that....just incase bearing got damaged on removal. I used a socket to rest the inner race on so when I pushed snapped pin out, the bearing didn't follow etc. So bearing was not used. Yes the Threebond was the most expensive at around £26.07 its also the black version which is more expensive, bearing was £13.23 & pin was £14.92 Plus postage £4.49
I paid for the black threebond but they sent grey unfortunately, the engine block is grey so doesn't look to bad.
Not a clue...... Hoping it was just because manufacturing fault etc Seems ok now, clean & test ride tomorrow.
