  9. A bit like a brembo .... but er not

  10. The outside bit is.

  11. Made under agreement from brembo by mode for some race series.

  12. I Remember buying some discs through a Ducati dealer and went to mode to pick them up... they were the copies but fortunately the wrong ones so I got genuine instead

  13. So are we saying that Mode Performance do not sell brembo discs and are not genuine brembo discs?
Or are we saying that the rotors are brembo?
Or are we saying that the carriers and rotors are pattern?

Its worth noting that they don't sell the consumer thickness discs that can be bought elsewhere hence their stuff is coded under the race disc part number that brembo themselves issue, so this all said and done - are you saying that they are pattern discs sold under a brembo part number?

  14. All the above

  15. so are you saying that they're shit and don't touch them or are you saying that they're ok but you want to see the brembo stamp on your discs?

  16. They were being sold as ex stock.
Not as an official brembo item.
The were made of genuine brembo HPK discs. Mode had the carriers made (non brembo) but with brembo official blessing.
The carriers didnt carry the brembo logo.

Mode is an official brembo supplier of brembo discs.

They were sold by enquiry only, when asked if they still sold 748r spec offset discs.

  17. Ok, cool.
I've had three sets of discs off them in the apst and they've been gold.
I can live without the brembo stamp on my carrier.
I have a set of those 12.5 offset (to centreline) HPK rotors from them, the carriers were done as a special order that was never carried through so he's still got some sets.

  18. They were for a race series but didn't get used.

  20. Not much happening at the moment. I'm waiting on a few parts to arrive, which is all the hardware for the oil cooler pipes, RH 999 switch gear and a 749/999 dash.

It's looking like I may be very close to getting this bike running. Im pretty much just a radiator and a belt service away from turning the bike over.

The next job on the list though is to 3D print an adaptor bracket for the 749/999 clocks to mount to the original 748 dash/clocks fixing points.

@Nostromo has helped me out massively with quite a few 999 bits. Everything that's arrived has been great quality. Thanks again :upyeah::)
