Yeah that screen is step in the right direction. Beemer just announced a 10.25" on their radar equipped RT. Ducati got one thing right
Clearly not aimed at the UK market ...... Dookardy. Never have two nations been so divided by the same language Andy
That's what he said. I have no idea on the semi active suspension. Personally I don't want spoked wheels, I want 17" wheels but not at Pikes Peak prices, couldn't give a toss about radar either. I do want 170HP though. Hey ho, we'll see what happens soon enough.
Pani was in my local Ducaaaati dealer for MOT and was told radar thing will be an option. ‘Tis front&rear jobbie; unlike BMW’s on their new RT1250 which is only on the front.
thats for sure.all the 19i front wheel will be with normal ssa. our last hope is the 17i front wheel sportier model to be with sssa.lets cross our fingers!
Freeze mwhites video clip to see the satnav at 11 seconds. Looks great. Anyone want to buy a zumo XT I really like the idea of this, but it's less handy for those of us with more than one bike unless it will accept planned routes in the same format. It will be interesting to know if it is in colaboration with garmin or Tom Tom, and which maps it uses. The important stuff will be how you upload pre-planned routes, interact with it to skip way points or recalculate, record trip logs, look for fuel/food/lodging, show delays and offer/select alternatives. I suspect a lot of this will probably be using a linked app, but that's not so handy when your on the move. A touchscreen would be nice Or maybe there will be a new left hand control, similar to the BMW turn wheel... It's taken a while to get there. Tpms was expected on the 2010 bikes though didn't materialise until about 2016, and inbuilt GPS was rumoured in 2012 and 2014. If it's cheap enough I would spec it.
If they've gone touchscreen, let's hope the plastics are more scratch resistant than the ones they currently sell?
Just been having a closer look at the static picture (it is flipped). What looks like a Piggy back ohklins shock. Oil cooler below the head stock (I hope they tidy up the pipe work ) @rotaxracer why the dislike to above ? Just passing on what I've been told by more than 1 dealer...
Sorry John i didn’t realise that had happened! Must have pressed it by mistake. I have removed the rating now sorry bud!
All this effort to make the engine great for rider & pillion..... let’s hope they fekkin spring the bike for a rider & pillion...... & luggage, rather than their wafer thin test pilot!!
