i dont think he was offended. i think he just chose not to spend his wealth there, first impressions and all that. i could also tell you a story about a good mate of mine, another scruffy cvnt who entered a BMW dealership in edinbro with his debit card and left with a brand new M3 and a free fast car course after a word with the manager when the first salesman he encountered just laughed at him when he told him what he wanted. it happens. i v,much doubt it was martin or um, jeeze, forget his name, good craic. he is in the pic with you and martin wearing a wig.
Why is it senior management and politicians make “errors of judgement”? is it not a shit decision, poor management... And should of been sacked.. I bet when the tech fits a belt wrong they don’t refer to it as an error of judgement!
its all good. i wonder where they are moving too. somewhere no further than Balloch would be great. i hate going to the city.

will it be the same management team running the place, i got the impression from an email that i gave a quick browse over that it is still the same crew running it. is that correct?
Changes at the top wouldn't be a bad thing, I guess a lot will change behind the scenes, as long as the Ducati 'experience ' is still there then all good as far as a Ducati dealer in Scotland is concerned
More information in the following links: https://www.insider.co.uk/news/jobs-saved-glasgow-ducati-dealership-23153480 https://www.ducatiglasgow.co.uk/pag...asgow-now-part-of-ducati-manchester-group.htm https://www.facebook.com/pg/DUCATIGLASGOW/about/?ref=page_internal I don't know if all the staff after the take-over are the same, but apparently Mike Robins (previously Director Ducati Glasgow) still has an interest in the location, and the previous team under him are in this link: https://www.ducatiglasgow.co.uk/pages/about/meet-the-team.htm Tom.
Below is the latest from Chris Booth, MD of the Ducati Manchester Group (taken from Facebook just now) “I’d like to introduce you all to Andrew Duthie who will be heading up Ducati Glasgow and helping us take DG to new levels. He joins us with a wealth of operational experience in the automotive sales & after-sales industry. He combines this with a lifelong passion for motorcycling. He was a National motorcycle racer and formerly, a Ron Haslam Race School track day instructor. These days, he maintains a healthy enjoyment of leisure riding including trials and off road riding and European track days. Andrew is looking forward to meeting all our customers in the dealership and at future events, as soon as restrictions allow. In the meantime, you can contact him on [email protected] or on 0141 333 4998.”
And a quote from Chris Booth (MD of Ducati Manchester Group) “Just to confirm the building is being sold by the administrators - I signed last week for our new showroom round the corner and building work commences this coming week.”
You wonder why. Seems crazy when there is already a fully-fitted and on brand site that could be for rent very soon
