One common cause is the semi floating disc aren't floating because the bobbins are seized. Easy fix is to use a 5mm bolt and nut to clamp the bobbin and use a battery drill to rotate them. A bit of WD40 helps but meticulous cleaning it off required afterwards. Andy
Yeah, the dealer did this and no joy. It’s a new bike, 650 miles and they’ve even changed discs and pads on a demo bike to try and solve but didn’t work. Apparently Ducati know about the issue but haven’t found a fix. When I emailed customer support they said the noise was normal!! So I asked why ALL the other bikes in the showroom don’t make a noise when free wheeling!
