749r 17.5 ltr tank breather

  2. i think when i did this with my carbon tank is used pn 59320041A from a 900ss and a spigot from another model that escapes me at the moment

  3. You don't want a breather valve like this on a streetbike that sees the sun occasionally...
     
  4. It builds up quite a lot of pressure when the fuel warms up. My Beater tank made a proper bang when you opened the cap after a while. Ended up drilling through the valve to retain the original look.

  5. Maybe I've got this wrong... but isn't that the point ? It lets out excess fuel vapour pressure ? Is your valve on backwards ? My 888 flowed OUT... not in

  8. I guess it depends on the valve, mine definitely wasn't two way. If I were to put it the other way around there would be a vacuum in the tank when fuel is used.

  11. Does anybody have those 10x1.5 male barb connectors to 749r tank? I found only couple in ebay and they were a bit large shaped. The ones in this picture would be perfect but where to get these? upload_2025-6-17_13-47-4.jpeg
