Hey everyone! I know there are already some aftermarket solutions for the plastic throttle pulley issue on Ducati Hypermotard and Monster models. Most of them replace the whole part or use printed composites — but my goal was a little different. I wanted to keep the original design and the stainless-steel plate that Ducati used, while replacing only the weak plastic cam with a CNC machined aluminium one with anodic coat and red color for aestetics. That way, the throttle body keeps its authentic factory look, but becomes many times stronger and longer-lasting. No drilling or modification needed — just remove the old plastic, clean the original plate, and install the new cam with the supplied hardware. It’s a simple, smart, and elegant fix that feels 100% Ducati. A small note about one of the photos: You might see a picture where I use a drill press — that’s only to safely remove the remaining plastic that’s stuck in the original moulding holes of the plate. The metal plate itself is not drilled — it’s only a method to clear the plastic more easily and without applying force.
