  1. I don’t know what that means sorry.
At least he came out of the worst season of his life injury free. There’s a few riders rn who’d I’d imagine are already worried about the start of next year fitness wise.
Just hope something either happens at the Valencia test or something gives way, it’s excruciating to watch.

  2. I have deleted it. It was meant to be a comment that the issue with Pecco's bike could be a software issue ?

The almost on / off difference between performance before Motegi then disastrous results immediately after - cannot really be explained as human difference. If you have a bike that you can thrash to double victories at Motegi and then barely a week later you are at the back - that is not a confidence thing is it. Neither is it a mechanical thing - the V4 Desmosedici didn't suddenly make less power from one week to the next.

On this basis could it be a computer / software issue. Are the settings actually making the changes in the real world that they think they are ?

Does the computer package work with the new 2025 bike ? Is the computer software / hardware making the correct adjustments ?
Was the 2025 computer equipment able to interface correctly with the new 2025 bike ?

Not sure how deeply involved are Lenovo - maybe they have something to answer here ?

  3. I don’t think it’s software. I think he has not got on with the 25 bike and the bike that they now have him on is a camel. A horse designed by a committee. Plus he is head-f**ked

  4. I reckon maybe they did not have time to co-develop new software with the new bike - and Pecco refuses to be a crash test dummy.

The computer / software side is a huge part of the race teams - I don't see why that could not be a cause of technical issues. The Ducati team might not want to make a public fuss about it because Lenovo are a major part of the Ducati team.

So keep quiet about it and blame the troubles on Pecco. Why not ?

  5. But Diggi is on a 25 bike and is still managing good results, the issue surely is just in his head or is there more to it?

  6. Feel very sorry for Bagnaia. Especially being in the least understanding garage when things aren’t going in the right direction. His self esteem must be non existent just now. You don’t become twice world champion by proxy ,so it’s a real head scratcher seeing someone drop so low.

Myself and wife have travelled to Sepang for the race this weekend, so we will be cheering him on at least.

  7. Maybe, just looking at different angles of what could be the cause. Strange that Pecco was full of confidence after and during Motegi, but that didn't carry forward - why not ?

Agreed the VR46 bike is a 2025 bike but my point was about software which might or might not be the same for the Factory team as it is for the VR46 team.

I am just trying to look at different angles for what could be going wrong for Pecco and software / IT issues are certainly in the mix for what makes a bike perform.

  10. I don’t know how they manage their bikes but my bet would be none of those AI derived issues are in play in the slightest

  11. Digi is 60+ points behind Pecco in the championship!
Lets get a bit of perspective Pecco had a podium at most rounds (sprint or main race) up to and including Germany.
The hanging about at the back is a recent thing, although probably overlooked due to 93's dominance this season.

It only really started going to shit at Czech GP/Austria.

  12. Got the camera with me but as to quality of the pics , it’s a bit of a lottery lol, I’m no Patrick Lichfield ( showing my age on that one ) as you will see, but I’ll do my best .
This was 2023 when the man in question was a wee bit quicker :

  13. Has anyone seen or heard what’s happening to Ogden next year?

He’s had a shite end to what was at times looking like a half decent season.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  14. Maybe not, just putting ideas out there about what could be the reason for Pecco's erratic performance this season - and your ideas on this are ?

  15. Nothing wrong with those pics - I just take my phone these days. Sold my Panasonic G9 about a week ago. Look forward to seeing your pics - grandstand seat ?

  16. There could be another reason for the Pecco/Lenovo issue…the same one that happened with the Honda…yes, Marquez. As in, the bike is now being developed and tuned for his riding style.

  17. I’ve no idea really and the Motegi performance makes it all the more baffling. You don’t go from world champion to way off the mark to winning a GP to being back of the field without it being baffling. GP25 versus GP24, I reckon he could have been on a V4s and not been any more inconsistent I wasn’t trying to be a smart arse by the way just that I don’t think it’s going to be anything so fundamental with software etc but of course I have no idea really on that front.
