I don’t know what that means sorry. At least he came out of the worst season of his life injury free. There’s a few riders rn who’d I’d imagine are already worried about the start of next year fitness wise. Just hope something either happens at the Valencia test or something gives way, it’s excruciating to watch.
I have deleted it. It was meant to be a comment that the issue with Pecco's bike could be a software issue ? The almost on / off difference between performance before Motegi then disastrous results immediately after - cannot really be explained as human difference. If you have a bike that you can thrash to double victories at Motegi and then barely a week later you are at the back - that is not a confidence thing is it. Neither is it a mechanical thing - the V4 Desmosedici didn't suddenly make less power from one week to the next. On this basis could it be a computer / software issue. Are the settings actually making the changes in the real world that they think they are ? Does the computer package work with the new 2025 bike ? Is the computer software / hardware making the correct adjustments ? Was the 2025 computer equipment able to interface correctly with the new 2025 bike ? Not sure how deeply involved are Lenovo - maybe they have something to answer here ?
I don’t think it’s software. I think he has not got on with the 25 bike and the bike that they now have him on is a camel. A horse designed by a committee. Plus he is head-f**ked
I reckon maybe they did not have time to co-develop new software with the new bike - and Pecco refuses to be a crash test dummy. The computer / software side is a huge part of the race teams - I don't see why that could not be a cause of technical issues. The Ducati team might not want to make a public fuss about it because Lenovo are a major part of the Ducati team. So keep quiet about it and blame the troubles on Pecco. Why not ?
But Diggi is on a 25 bike and is still managing good results, the issue surely is just in his head or is there more to it?
