Yep that looks like an inclined parallel twin.

 

Narrow-angle vee. Like a Volkswagen VR car engine, or a Horex VR6.

 

I see what you mean, makes sense.

 

Interesting concept, the intakes go down through the head, not sure how they are done on the VR6 VW engine but don’t think it’s like that.

it’s an idea with merit! A way to get 5 cylinders in with the width of a 3 cylinder and a bit, but because of how they are doing it, it looks like they are doing it with just one cam chain and then gear driven across the cams from there, quite interesting idea.
