  1. My Son uses American English in conversation as well as on social media having 'grown up' influenced by watching content created by Americans on social media.

It really shouldn't be an issue, well it isn't for me but I do try not to nitpick......often.:)

  3. Marketing & media employs some of the finest minds to show you how much better your imperfect life would be if it only had more stuff in it.

So people are never content with their life when they do have more stuff because it doesn't take long to feel no happier.

Often what your looking for is there all along.

  7. Installed it. Turns out it is so sensitive it notices every time anybody walks down the street.

  8. Without a doubt! You can catch all sorts of shenanigans with that kit. George Orwell was as much a visionary as Enoch Powell.

  10. Well enjoy Christmas while you can. Before long Comrade Starmer and his cronies will have us all celebrating other religious ceremonies.

  12. Do you still have to subscribe to them each month -£80 a year- to watch & review the film?

  13. I got a 4 channel Noco to keep stuff charged in the garage, had a few years now works great, it has settings for normal Lead acid, AGM , lithium so most bases covered.

  14. I spent 4 hours today pissing about trying to get insurance for my new car which I pick up on Monday, and hopefully I've sorted out transferring my private plate too.

Doris is now in baking and cooking mode before we head out later to her daughters for "picky bits" and a drink

  16. Yes, I don’t think it’s £80 per year tho? I think we pay £1.99 per month, I could easily be wrong tho

  17. https://en-uk.ring.com/pages/plans

The Ring home page shows monthly Basic £5, Standard £8 or Premium £16 so annually £60, £96 or flat out ridiculous unless it includes free takeaway meals!

    Maybe you have something else?

  18. Wow, we pay annually apparently but Lady Vader doesn’t know how much.
