  2. Installed it. Turns out it is so sensitive it notices every time anybody walks down the street.

  3. Without a doubt! You can catch all sorts of shenanigans with that kit. George Orwell was as much a visionary as Enoch Powell.

  5. Well enjoy Christmas while you can. Before long Comrade Starmer and his cronies will have us all celebrating other religious ceremonies.

  7. Do you still have to subscribe to them each month -£80 a year- to watch & review the film?

  8. I got a 4 channel Noco to keep stuff charged in the garage, had a few years now works great, it has settings for normal Lead acid, AGM , lithium so most bases covered.

  9. I spent 4 hours today pissing about trying to get insurance for my new car which I pick up on Monday, and hopefully I've sorted out transferring my private plate too.

Doris is now in baking and cooking mode before we head out later to her daughters for "picky bits" and a drink

  11. Yes, I don’t think it’s £80 per year tho? I think we pay £1.99 per month, I could easily be wrong tho

  12. https://en-uk.ring.com/pages/plans

The Ring home page shows monthly Basic £5, Standard £8 or Premium £16 so annually £60, £96 or flat out ridiculous unless it includes free takeaway meals!

    Maybe you have something else?

  13. Wow, we pay annually apparently but Lady Vader doesn’t know how much.

  20. I went to bed at 11pm and left Doris starting the various rituals of cooking the turkey (and duck for s-i-l as he doesn’t like turkey), making various sauces including bread sauce (which in my opinion is just like having chewed up bread spat on your plate), and stuffing etc. She made “Queen of Puddings” earlier.

I woke up at 3am and went downstairs to see how she’s doing………seems she was doing fine and was basting the turkey, and will apparently be doing it again every hour for as long as it takes.

I’ve come back to bed as I am surplus to requirements. And I’m happy to be so.

    Merry Christmas everyone xx
