Scorpio Electronics used to repair these clocks, they've done plenty, worth contacting but, this was a few years ago, UK based.

To make this work, I think you might need to have your immobiliser removed from your ECU though unfortunately. Chris on here can do this for a reasonable fee ( if he's still doing this). I know this works, because I've tried out my spare.

Did they give you an approximate quote? - also which spare parts would they need? - one of the first things to go is the LCD so very unlikely to find a "parts" one with this intact. I would strongly consider the EBay item if it were me.

i meant the new one - haven't seen any "parts only" possibly ever on UK EBay, and as explained, you need a good LCD which is unlikely to turn up. Also repair will not have the longevity that a new one has, provided it is just that.
