V4 V4 Pikes Peak 2022 - Single Side Axle Torque?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by richtea999, Apr 12, 2026 at 11:53 PM.

  1. I'm getting fresh tyres tomorrow, but I don't know the torque for tightening the wheel nut. I looked in the Multistrada workshop manual but I couldn't see anything for the single sided swinging arm version that the Pikes Peak has.

Same goes for the front wheel axle.

    Please can someone enlighten me!

    Thanks in advance.

[rubbish subject line, by the way - I meant single sided wheel nut torque. Tch]

  2. If it's a big axle with 55mm nut, likely to be 230Nm.
    Front is typically 63Nm.
Somebody with a manual will be along to verify hopefully.

  3. 63Nm front and 230Nm rear as @RickyX said. Remember to grease the threads with Type B grease (I use what is commonly called White grease but any good high temp grease will do). Andy

  4. 230Nm aligns with a couple of other references on a US Ducati site which I originally missed, and I did find the double-sided torque value (180Nm), so the 230Nm looks sensible.

    Thanks very much both.
