So I've seen a few people on here have fitted them with the evotech tail tidy. However the bolt that goes through the tail tidy and into the bolt in the frame is a m8. I would assume these bolts from factory would be m8 hence the m8 nuts in the frame being m8. However the bracket that holds the spark exhaust on has a hole way bigger than a m6 but ever so slightly smaller than a m8. Did people have to widen this hole slightly? any help is much appreciated
I made a new bracket for mine which lifted the system up 20mm. Reason being cross over pipe broke my hugger
Haha you are about a week too late with this reply I fitted a carbon hugger last week and the first big hole I hit, it smashed it to pieces! have you got any pics of the bracket you made up?
Oh dear I have brand new plastic one if you need it. Even with the 20mm it has touched my carbon hugger. I made the one piece one first then went to 2 individual brackets.
I put the original back on after it broke the carbon one but then noticed a few marks on it but it's definitely got more flex than the carbon one I then ordered a good second hand one should I ever take the spark off. would you be interested in making anymore of those brackets at all? Obviously happy to pay for them.
