Hi Rob, only seen this now.
It appears there is a recognised issue with the 13 & 14's. Apparently the fork was made in a similar way to a rear shock in that a pressurised reservoir with diaphram to prevent oil cavitation was installed inside the fork leg. The gas espaped fron this reservoir and into the fork leg. This
had the effect of increaseing preload and the front end riding high. I didn't know this and found the headlight aim too high, so I adjusted it down. The bike leaned over too far on the prop stand and there was a clunk when the forks
extended/ topped out after going over a ramp. I was unaware of this all pointing to this gas leak into the fork. I checked the travel when I became aware of the issue and only had 90mm (half) travel.
I had an intermittent at first Skyhook error that became permanent. I replaced the left leg and the fault didn't go away. A trip to Millsport in Ballymoney identified the front
fixed sensor. Solder and insulation and everything is now perfect. The broken wire was 15mm shorter than the rest of the loom and broke due to stress
Hope this helps you
Pat
