Just to add that for me subscribing has solved the issue. If I log out the pop up reappears.
It might be iOS specific as of 4 devices connected to the same network I only get it on 3 apple devices and not on the PC.
I don’t have a problem with ads to support the site but this clearly isn’t a legitimate ad.
